Tamil Nadu opts out of the NEET 2021 Medical Exam, allowing medical students to be admitted based on their class 12 results.
The Tamil Nadu Assembly passed a Bill on Monday to opt-out of the NEET-UG central medical entrance test system and admit students to UG medical courses based on Class XII results. The Bill was approved by the Assembly with unanimous support from all parties except the BJP. However, Presidential approval of the Bill would remain a problem. - — TNS
